how did you long-timers (old-timers, respectfully) manage it without crisis of conscience, christian freedom, jwn, jwfacts, freeminds, access to thousands of fellow survivors with stories just like yours?.

i was about 8-10 years old and twice i had people tell me that i should not pioneer but to go to bethel because i "was governing body material".. one was a co and another a do.. i didn't even believe in god, never have so that makes it weird!.

as a little child i used to have horrible, horrible nightmares do to all the satan/ demon and big a talk.
i was also horrified of the dark for the same reason.
I wonder just how many ex jws and current have suffered the same. I cannot imagine it as it did not seem to effect me this way. I was facinated by the pictures, not tormented, saw armageddon as a good thing not a bad.
Perhaps that all speaks loudly of how deep the programming was at the tender age of 10. I was joyed at the prospect of my father getting killed by Jehovah, we used to make jokes at his expense about it. I bought into the beliefs fastest of all syblings and stayed in the longest.
I am today a very empathetic person, perhaps i should be surprised that i am in view of my upbringing.

according to christendom/jehovah`s witnesses in particular , the greatest man who ever lived,had the means at his disposal,to write down everything he had to say for the benefit of all mankind ,jew and gentile,and he never availed himself of this priveledge .rather most of what he had to say, according to the bible, was lost,no one recorded all he spoke ..he was quite content to leave it up to a few, who would put his words to pen,many of which were not eyewitness accounts to his deeds.,but received the information secon-hand.
if the almighty god jehovah and his son jesus christ were in anyway serious, wouldn`t they have made this" so important" message available to all mankind ?

it was supposed to have come been in an older publication and listed many tactics for how to get them to leave the marriage.
while done in real life, i don't think the WT would have printed 'tactics' to do it...
